How to install u1db-tools on Debian Unstable (Sid)

Install u1db-tools

Installing u1db-tools package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install u1db-tools

Uninstall u1db-tools

To remove just u1db-tools package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove u1db-tools

Uninstall u1db-tools and it’s dependent packages

To remove the u1db-tools package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove u1db-tools

Purging u1db-tools

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of u1db-tools from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge u1db-tools

To delete configuration and/or data files of u1db-tools and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove u1db-tools
