How to install util-linux-locales on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install util-linux-locales

Installing util-linux-locales package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install util-linux-locales

Uninstall util-linux-locales

To remove just util-linux-locales package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove util-linux-locales

Uninstall util-linux-locales and it’s dependent packages

To remove the util-linux-locales package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove util-linux-locales

Purging util-linux-locales

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of util-linux-locales from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge util-linux-locales

To delete configuration and/or data files of util-linux-locales and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove util-linux-locales
