How to install v86d on Debian Unstable (Sid)

Install v86d

Installing v86d package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install v86d

Uninstall v86d

To remove just v86d package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove v86d

Uninstall v86d and it’s dependent packages

To remove the v86d package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove v86d

Purging v86d

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of v86d from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge v86d

To delete configuration and/or data files of v86d and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove v86d
