How to install vboot-kernel-utils on Debian Unstable (Sid)

Install vboot-kernel-utils

Installing vboot-kernel-utils package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install vboot-kernel-utils

Uninstall vboot-kernel-utils

To remove just vboot-kernel-utils package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove vboot-kernel-utils

Uninstall vboot-kernel-utils and it’s dependent packages

To remove the vboot-kernel-utils package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove vboot-kernel-utils

Purging vboot-kernel-utils

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of vboot-kernel-utils from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge vboot-kernel-utils

To delete configuration and/or data files of vboot-kernel-utils and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove vboot-kernel-utils
