How to install virt-top on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install virt-top

Installing virt-top package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install virt-top

virt-top package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name virt-top
version 1.0.7-1.1
description show stats of virtualized domains
subsection admin

maintainer Debian Libvirt Maintainers

Uninstall virt-top

To remove just virt-top package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove virt-top

Uninstall virt-top and it’s dependent packages

To remove the virt-top package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove virt-top

Purging virt-top

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of virt-top from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge virt-top

To delete configuration and/or data files of virt-top and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove virt-top
