How to install vmdk-stream-converter on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install vmdk-stream-converter

Installing vmdk-stream-converter package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install vmdk-stream-converter

Uninstall vmdk-stream-converter

To remove just vmdk-stream-converter package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove vmdk-stream-converter

Uninstall vmdk-stream-converter and it’s dependent packages

To remove the vmdk-stream-converter package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove vmdk-stream-converter

Purging vmdk-stream-converter

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of vmdk-stream-converter from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge vmdk-stream-converter

To delete configuration and/or data files of vmdk-stream-converter and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove vmdk-stream-converter
