How to install webfs on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install webfs

Installing webfs package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install webfs

webfs package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name webfs
version 1.21+ds1-11
description lightweight HTTP server for static content
subsection httpd

Uninstall webfs

To remove just webfs package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove webfs

Uninstall webfs and it’s dependent packages

To remove the webfs package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove webfs

Purging webfs

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of webfs from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge webfs

To delete configuration and/or data files of webfs and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove webfs
