How to install xlog on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install xlog

Installing xlog package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xlog

xlog package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name xlog
version 2.0.13-1
description GTK+ Logging program for Hamradio Operators

maintainer Debian Hamradio Maintainers

Uninstall xlog

To remove just xlog package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove xlog

Uninstall xlog and it’s dependent packages

To remove the xlog package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xlog

Purging xlog

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of xlog from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge xlog

To delete configuration and/or data files of xlog and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xlog
