How to install xpra on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install xpra

Installing xpra package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xpra

xpra package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)

version 0.16.3+dfsg-1
description tool to detach/reattach running X programs
subsection x11

Uninstall xpra

To remove just xpra package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove xpra

Uninstall xpra and it’s dependent packages

To remove the xpra package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xpra

Purging xpra

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of xpra from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge xpra

To delete configuration and/or data files of xpra and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xpra
