How to install xsysinfo on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install xsysinfo

Installing xsysinfo package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xsysinfo

xsysinfo package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name xsysinfo
version 1.7-9
description display some Linux kernel parameters in graphical form
subsection utils
maintainer tony mancill

Uninstall xsysinfo

To remove just xsysinfo package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove xsysinfo

Uninstall xsysinfo and it’s dependent packages

To remove the xsysinfo package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xsysinfo

Purging xsysinfo

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of xsysinfo from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge xsysinfo

To delete configuration and/or data files of xsysinfo and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xsysinfo
