How to install zabbix-server-mysql on Debian Unstable (Sid)

Install zabbix-server-mysql

Installing zabbix-server-mysql package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install zabbix-server-mysql

Uninstall zabbix-server-mysql

To remove just zabbix-server-mysql package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove zabbix-server-mysql

Uninstall zabbix-server-mysql and it’s dependent packages

To remove the zabbix-server-mysql package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove zabbix-server-mysql

Purging zabbix-server-mysql

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of zabbix-server-mysql from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge zabbix-server-mysql

To delete configuration and/or data files of zabbix-server-mysql and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove zabbix-server-mysql
