How to install zoo on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install zoo

Installing zoo package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install zoo

zoo package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name zoo
version 2.10-28
description manipulate zoo archives
subsection utils
website ibiblio.org / pub / packages / ccic / software / unix / utils / 
maintainer Debian QA Group

Uninstall zoo

To remove just zoo package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove zoo

Uninstall zoo and it’s dependent packages

To remove the zoo package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove zoo

Purging zoo

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of zoo from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge zoo

To delete configuration and/or data files of zoo and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove zoo
